Client Relationship Manager

Role and Responsibilities
The Client Relationship Manager actively supports the growth of the company’s Stormwater Installation and Erosion Control Divisions. Our ideal candidate understands how site contractors work, what they need, and how to deliver on it. They have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at both verbal and written communication, building relationships, and what it takes to execute quality work. The Client Relationship Manager seeks to develop and expand client connections beginning with project pricing through successful project execution.
More specifically, the Client Relationship Manager will:
- Seek and follow-up on new opportunities by reviewing internal and external business leads
- Meet with existing and prospective clients on a regular basis
- Actively listen to clients, identify their problem(s) and present solutions, provide clear communication between client and project team
- Convert prospects and job leads into new customers and new sales
- In coordination with Exact’s Project Managers and Operations team, prepare and submit estimates and proposals
- Manage the sales cycle from pricing through project handoff to the Operations team, including continual check-ins with client and Operations team throughout the project
- Possess organizational skills sufficient to follow projects through the sales cycle
- Understand and help improve pricing and customer service while ensuring high-quality
- installations and profitability expectations
- Educate and develop client relationships by conducting outreach such as lunch & learns, site/office visits, as well as participation in trade shows, hard hat tours and other local business functions
- Passion for the business, with a strong personal and professional interest in solving our clients’ problems
- Highly responsive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A go-getter with strong leadership, organizational skills, and sales capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and positive driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in customer service, account management, and/or sales/estimating in the construction industry
- Ability to read plans and perform simple take-off’s
- Experience in erosion control (hydroseeding, silt fence installation, tree protection etc..); underground detention installation, liner and containment installation; and/or engineered product solutions (HydroTurf, Flexamat and more)
- Experience of CRMs such as Zoho and/or service platforms such as ServiceFusion

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
