Job Details
Under general supervision bills insurance and cash beneficiaries, according to current drug prices. Works with management and fellow employees to make sure all prescriptions are billed prior to leaving the pharmacy and does related work as required.
Responsibilities
Bills all prescriptions on Beneficiary accounts in computerized system QS/1. Takes care of all reports on billing of prescriptions such as, but not limited to: VER reports, ect.
Gathers all information for audits to be given to Pharmacy Director for final check. Responds to Beneficiary billing inquiries.
Helps with month end procedures including but not limited to AR credits and reports.
Expense Verification Requests for clients Supply Ordering, restocking Helps processing technicians with data entry for new clients.
Control Reporting Discontinue Clients in QS/1 Takes client payments over the phone.
Helps cover the front desk during receptionist breaks and lunches.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience – High School Diploma or GED.
