Overview
Exagen is a patient-focused and discovery-driven life sciences company dedicated to transforming the care continuum for patients suffering from debilitating and chronic autoimmune diseases. Our goal is to enable rheumatologists to improve care for patients through the differential diagnosis, prognosis, and monitoring of complex autoimmune and autoimmune-related diseases, including lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. By leveraging our proprietary Cell-Bound Complement Activation Products, or CB-CAPs, technology, we help get to the real cause of a patient’s symptoms and guide their journey to improved health.
The Business Applications team is responsible for Exagen’s LIS, Salesforce and other software systems that support company-wide operations in a regulated healthcare environment.
As part of that team, the Salesforce IT Analyst works with end users to understand their needs, support daily operations, and implement improvements through in-house software development and configuration.
Responsibilities
Note: Other duties may be assigned.
- Implement application enhancements.
- Ensure intimate and on-going familiarity with user needs across departments, collect and document user requirements.
- Administer change control following change management procedures.
- Develop system changes.
- Define and execute test cases to verify system modifications.
- Deploy or coordinate production deployments.
- Proactively communicate progress updates and impacts to end users and team members.
- Provide ongoing support of Salesforce and other business applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Provide training and ongoing support to new and existing application users.
- Perform system monitoring and maintenance.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience with Salesforce platform including Lightning components, data objects, SOQL, Apex classes and triggers, JavaScript.
- Proficiency with one or more programming languages and database concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least four years of experience with Salesforce platform including Lightning components, data objects, SOQL, Apex classes and triggers, JavaScript.
- Experience with LIS support and implementation (Exemplar a plus).
- Familiarity with Mirth Connect interfacing engine.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, or within a team that practices continuous development and integration.
- Proficiency with software development, testing and maintenance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft business applications including SharePoint and PowerBI.
- Familiarity with high volume diagnostic laboratories.
Pay range: $43.27/hr - $62.50/hr
Salary : $43 - $63
