What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enrollment Technician position at Excel Academy Charter School*?
The Enrollment Technician is a critical support to the office team responsible for managing the student enrollment process, ensuring student applications are completed quickly and correctly and required attachments are included and submitted correctly. The Enrollment Technician communicates frequently with families, with an extremely high level of detail during the enrollment process to provide support and ensure successful and smooth on-boarding. They will work meticulously to keep our student information system and other systems updated with clean and accurate data and information. The Enrollment Technician works with the Student services Coordinator to maintain data and record compliance for yearly audits, and supports the registrar. The Enrollment Technician serves as a liaison between parents, families, students and Excel’s educational programs, The Enrollment Technician should be extremely well versed in all facets of Excel programming and capable of delivering unwavering knowledge and support to applicants through the enrollment process. Finally, the Enrollment Technician is a team player who utilizes appropriate scheduling to identify other office tasks that need to be completed and anticipate heavier traffic seasons through proactive logistical thinking. Qualifications (Determined by the Employer):
BA or BS from an accredited college or university preferred.
At least four years as a member of an office staff or two years as a supervisor or coordinator in an office setting. School setting and School Pathways SIS knowledge are highly preferred.
State and Federally Mandated Qualifications upon offer of employment:
Hold and maintain a valid California Driver’s License; proof of automobile insurance; and full time use of a dependable automobile that is insured pursuant to California regulations
State and federal background clearance (LiveScan) to work with students (Education Code Section 44237). No prospective employee can report to work without this clearance being received and Human Resources notifying the immediate supervisor of this clearance
Proof of a clear TB test dated within the last 60 days (Education Code Section 49406) upon employment and thereafter updated every four years
