Job Responsibilities
Excel Care seeks an Administrative Coordinator able to support the client services team with staff orientation, coaching and training of Direct Support Professionals. This position is essential for managing staff schedules and ensuring quality assurance of services provided. Experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 or older; and is positive, a team player and willing to learn.
- Handle training and shadowing for employees and ensure on-site orientation elements are satisfactorily complete.
- Manage staff's schedules including late alerts/call offs requests.
- Ensuring compliance with client’s progress documentation per required guidelines
- Directly and indirectly supervise Direct Support Professionals to ensure care is provided in accordance with the CSSP, service agreements and person-centered care plans.
- Support the operations of ICS programming, coordinating high utilization activities that align and adhere with all DHS licensing requirements.
- Maintain a working knowledge of 245-D license requirements sufficient to ensure compliance throughout the program.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide direct care as needed; Participate in on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field, preferred
- 1-3 years of providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
- Must qualify as a Designated Coordinator per MN DHS qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with valid auto insurance
- Demonstrated experience in 245D compliance

Pay Range: $55,000 - $59,000
