What are the responsibilities and job description for the Excel - Project Assistant (Marketing) position at Excel Engineering?
Our team is seeking a marketing professional to support our growing campaign efforts. Primary responsibility of this role includes Lead Generation (retrieving names and addresses for marketing campaigns.) This role also involves working on a variety of projects including, but not limited to, email marketing, creating market-specific and service-specific materials, trade show coordination, and RFP preparation (requests for proposals). Your work will play a key role in helping us expand our outreach and brand presence in the industry.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field
Experience:
Minimum six years including relevant education
SPECIFIC DEPARTMENTAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Generation (retrieving names and addresses for marketing campaigns)
- Execute projects per marketing campaign standards
- Assist with content for active job pursuits (creating firm profiles, presentations, RFPs, project sheets, and resumes)
- Utilize brand templates to create and maintain promotional materials
- Write and review copy
- Manage corporate marketing calendar(s) and organize tasks
- Maintain and update the company website
- Provide social media content and backup, as needed
- Assist with trade show coordination
- Assist with company apparel ordering and distribution
- Ability to professionally communicate with potential customers and existing clients
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor
