The Accounting Clerk plays a critical role in upholding the quality and efficiency of financial processes, supporting the facility's overall operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts receivable data, including preparing and sending invoices to customers.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing of accounts receivable documents.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of pricing and billing processes in alignment with company standards.
- Assist with other accounting functions as needed to support the department.
- Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel to complete daily tasks and maintain records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data with attention to detail.
- Adapt to evolving processes and handle a high volume of work efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, with a preference for accounts receivable (AR) or similar functions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage a large volume of data accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Ability to adapt to complex pricing and billing processes.
