Essential Responsibilities of a Scheduler:
- Build and manage caregivers' schedules based on their availability
- Coordinate scheduling between caregivers and clients
- Maximize field staff schedules based on availability
- Track staff attendance and client cancellations
- Ensure clients receive consistent, quality service
- Confirm schedules with caregivers, clients, and case managers
- Process and schedule new referrals promptly
- Enter new clients and staff into our EMR system
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients
- Provide oversight of field personnel and report concerns to supervisors
- Coordinate co-visits with the Nursing Supervisor, when needed
- Assist with HR-related duties as assigned
- Collaborate with Finance to help complete payroll for field staff
- Support marketing efforts to attract and retain clients
- Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours support
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications of a Scheduler:
- Previous scheduling experience (preferred but not required)
- Strong computer skills and EMR experience
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Exceptional customer service mindset
