We are seeking a Family Advocate to oversee and coordinate family development, health, nutrition, disabilities support, and enrollment services for our Head Start program. This role integrates services for children and families, provides referrals and resources, and ensures compliance with Head Start Performance Standards.
- Support families through needs assessments, referrals, and follow-ups.
- Oversee enrollment and recruitment based on eligibility guidelines.
- Conduct audits, maintain records, and provide reports.
- Train staff on case management, transitions, and documentation.
- Coordinate health, dental, nutrition, and mental health services.
- Engage with parents to support child development and health care access.
- Represent the program in the community and build partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field.
- Experience working with young children (birth to kindergarten) preferred.
- Strong computer skills and ability to manage databases.
- Knowledge of community resources, particularly in health and disabilities.
- Excellent communication, organization, and crisis management skills.
- Ability to travel frequently between centers. Travel is 80%.

What We Need from You:
Education, Experience, and Training Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must meet all state, federal, and Early Learning Academies guidelines regarding education, experience, immunizations, employment physical, and required health and safety training and practices.
- A valid driver's license is required if driving is a requirement of the position.
