Job Overview: As an Accounting and Payroll Specialist at Excel Management, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and maintaining effective payroll systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and at least 5 years of payroll management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage accounts receivables and accounts payables
-Handle invoicing and communicate with customers regarding outstanding payments
-Coordinate with vendors regarding accounts payable matters
-Process payroll and payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws
Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis
-Reconcile weekly credit card transactions
Prepare sales tax reporting and ensure timely filing
Assist in filing 941 forms and quarterly communication with CPA
Complete rent reconciliations and address any discrepancies
Perform other accounting-related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience with QuickBooks Enterprise
Minimum 5 years of payroll experience
Strong understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes
Proficient in bank and credit card reconciliations
Experience with sales tax reporting and 941 filing
Excellent communication skills for customer and vendor interactions
High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
