Payroll Administrator

Excel Paving Company is a full-service payroll processing and accounting service provider. We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction payroll processing, accounting and human resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Enter field timesheets and generate payroll for company and multiple unions

· Prepare and process all payroll deductions, taxes and fringe benefits

· Prepare all Quarterly and Year End Tax Reports (ie: 941, W-2’s, ACA 1095-C)

· Set up and maintain all personnel files.

· Prepare and update New Hire packages

· Conduct new employee orientation and complete documentation

· Responsible for some HR inquires (ie: employment verifications, garnishments)

· Manage workflow to ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely

· Must routinely meet tight deadlines

· Assist employees with payroll issues

· Assist in other departments as needed

Education and Experience Requirements:

· 3 Years of experience working within the construction industry

· Comfortable with Microsoft Office

· Experience using Construction or Payroll Software Programs (Vista Preferred)

· Ability to process and manage payroll in a confidential manner

· Knowledge of with Multi-union/craft Payroll

· Knowledge of Prevailing Wage Law and Certified Payroll Reporting preferred

· Must be detail oriented

· Must be able to work under tight deadlines

· Excellent organization skills, time management and prioritization abilities.

· Strong Interpersonal Skills is critical

Salary : $50,100 - $63,400
