Maintenance Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through regular maintenance and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with electrical systems, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers.
• Conduct mechanical repairs, including welding as needed.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance tasks and inventory.
• Interpret schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Oversee residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic standards of the facility.
• Supervise maintenance staff as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate tools and equipment safely.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including the use of an ohmmeter.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for managing maintenance schedules and reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics related to electrical systems.
• Experience in supervising teams is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
