Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation
- Lead generation: The estimator will reach potential and current customers through calls, emails, or online platforms to generate interest in HSI’s capabilities and services.
- Customer engagement: The estimator role will engage with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and provide solution-driven support. The willingness to provide consistent customer contact to support current business and develop new business is essential.
Estimating Costs
- Cost estimation: Based on the customer’s requirements, the estimator calculates the costs of providing the product. This includes materials, labor, and other factors that might impact the final price.
- Quotes: The estimator will prepare and present accurate quotes to customers, outlining pricing, delivery times, and other relevant details promptly meeting or exceeding customer deadlines.
Product Knowledge
- Technical expertise: This position requires an understanding of the manufacturing process and the ability to blueprints so that an accurate cost breakdown can be determined and any technical questions may be answered.
Collaborating with Sales and Operations
- Coordination with other departments: Work closely as part of a sales team to ensure that estimates are aligned with client needs and sales goals. Collaborate with the operations and production teams to verify availability, production times, and other details.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,698.64 - $64,669.34 per year
