Project Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Identify prospective solar/storage projects with suitable resources, transmission access, and site characteristics, using Clean Shift’s GIS tools to identify property suitable for utility scale solar and storage development.
• Utilize sales, negotiation and relationship building skills to obtain surface land rights.
• Real Estate – Title & ALTA; Survey
• Zoning Approvals
• Financing Support: supporting Clean Shift’s project finance efforts by assisting management in organizing project information and coordinating the financial due diligence of debt and tax equity investors;

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementation of all site screening GIS and identification efforts in targeted markets;
• Prepare presentation material;
• Maintain site acquisition database in real time using company processes and tools;
• Use and recommend improvements to company GIS tools and resources;
• Report work activities, metrics and progress in team weekly meetings;
• Travel, as needed. Clean Shift is actively developing throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Midwest regions. It’s anticipated that the Developer will be traveling ~50% of the time;
• Assist in the advancement and development of projects currently in Clean Shift’s portfolio; and,
• Additional duties as requested.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $79,283.82 - $95,481.59 per year
