EXCEL Group is seeking a experienced PVC loader to join our team at a petrochemical plant in Geismar, LA. The Loader is responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of railcars and tanker trucks with a variety of products and chemicals. Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensures that truck / railcar is positioned and secured properly at the loading rack and checks for last product contained.
- Visually inspects the truck / railcar before transfer to ensure that it is mechanically sound and has no defective equipment.
- Wears all protective clothing and equipment, including respirator and fresh air equipment that may be required to transfer the product in a manner that ensures maximum personal safety.
- Able to accurately understand the weight before and after product transfer and ensures that outages do not exceed Department of Transportation (DOT) certification for the vessel being loaded.
- Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
Job Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid TWIC card.
- Must always be able to follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work on feet for prolonged hours, walking on unlevel ground.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Stable work history with good references from past employers.

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Railcar Loading: 3 years (Preferred)
- Railcar Operations: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- TWIC Card (Required)
