Responsibilities You'll Love:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the registered nurse or physician
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning
- Perform procedures such as catheterization, specimen collection processing, and suturing
- Utilize electronic health record system PCC
- Oversees and directs the CNA’s
- Answers call lights/bells courteously in a timely manner.
- Responds to all emergency situations following appropriate procedures and notifications.
- Performs and adheres to all policies and procedures related to Infection Control safety regulations including fire protection/prevention, smoking regulations, etc.
- Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility.
