NOW HIRING : Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) responsibilities Include :

Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.

Provide direct therapy services to residents, including exercises, activities, and techniques to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and daily living skills.

Monitor resident progress and report findings to the Occupational Therapist for adjustments to the treatment plan.

Educate residents and their families on therapeutic exercises and techniques to be performed at home.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services provided, including progress notes and assessments.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and staff to ensure comprehensive care.

Ensure that therapy equipment is maintained and in good working condition.

Comply with all regulatory requirements and facility policies.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications :

Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from an accredited program.

Valid COTA license in the state of New Jersey.

Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred, but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to enhancing the lives of residents.
