Recreation Assistant Responsibilities You'll Love :

Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational activities for residents, including arts and crafts, games, music, exercise programs, and more.

Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during activities, providing assistance as needed.

Encourage resident participation and engagement in daily programs.

Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all residents.

What We Look For :

High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certification in recreation or a related field is a plus.

Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting required.

Strong communication skills and a passion for working with elderly individuals.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
