Summary:
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be integral to maintaining and optimizing machinery within our manufacturing facility. Your role encompasses troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, interpreting schematics, and utilizing your expertise in programmable logic controllers and CMMS. Your core skills in industrial maintenance and mechanical knowledge will ensure efficient operations, while your premium skills in PLC's will enhance our technical capabilities. Responsibilities:
- Design minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
- Must have knowledge of electrical power, steam, water, and gas distribution systems.
- Must perform basic mechanical repairs.
- Must be able to perform the work of the lower-class identifications.
- May direct the work of others in the lower classifications.
- Must dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
- Must install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
- Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
- Do lay outs, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
- Must mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
- Do repairs, installs, replaces and test electrical circuits, and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
- Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.
Requirements:
- Two-year Associate degree OR 2 years of relevant work experience required.
- Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
Our jobs require:
- Standing long period, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending
- Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Pay: $29.00 - $46.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overnight shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
- Weekends only
