We have a new opportunity for a Level 2 Deskside Technician to join our client’s team onsite in Denver, CO.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Primary desktop support for windows operating system, mobile device, and video conferencing systems
- Ensure consistent processes, procedures and technologies are utilized across client’s enterprise environment
- Identify and initiate resolutions to client problems and concerns associated with office automation equipment, hardware and software to the client's satisfaction
- Provide second level support to the Help Desk Analyst and respond to problem tickets in a timely and efficient manner
- Coordinate and install desktop equipment and software according to department standards and procedures as needed
- Understand and follow direction provided by leads and managers of different client products and towers
- Document recurring issues in the client knowledge Base
- Document in detail case status and tasks / work completed with end users in the client ITSM system
- Follow the client critical incident process
- Follow client required safety protocols and complete regular trainings on safety and compliance
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration or related field is preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills required
- Familiarity with existing operating systems is required
- Experience with MS Office applications suite is required.
- Excellent in person, oral, telephone and written communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years of personal computer experience or combined experience and be proficient in supporting the following technologies:
- Mobile device management experience and mobile web apps
- Experience with Windows operating system advanced troubleshooting
- Microsoft Office 365 support, advanced troubleshooting
- Hardware troubleshooting with the ability to pinpoint hardware vs. software issue
- General knowledge / troubleshooting for Networking
- General knowledge of Microsoft Intune
- Printer support
- Video Conferencing system support
- Understand and troubleshoot Azure MFA
- Desktop imaging
- Strong customer service skills required
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to analyze given situations, develop mental models of complex problems, and identify and recommend approaches to solving them
- Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate a compelling business case for use of IT through strong understanding of client business drivers and opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to see the bigger picture, denote how processes / tools will impact other processes / tools
- Ability to communicate with transparency the impact and risks as well as think creatively within defined constraints
- Influence geographically and dispersed colleagues
- Build alignment using an inclusive, collaborative style
- Ensure results are obtained and shared with colleagues at various support functions and regional sites
