Summary:
The Commercial Refrigeration Area Manager at Excell Refrigeration is responsible for leading and developing the service staff to ensure high-quality customer service and operational efficiency. This role requires a motivated leader with excellent communication skills and a strong background in commercial refrigeration. The Area Manager will oversee staff performance, manage work assignments, and provide on-the-job mentoring to uphold Excell’s high standards.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Manage and develop service staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and setting work priorities.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and provide technical support and mentorship.
- Monitor all work orders in your area to ensure workload management and timely completion.
- Ensure adherence to procedures and standards by reviewing employee work orders in enterprise systems.
- Complete assigned paperwork and forms accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with management and peers to improve processes and procedures.
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with external customers and internal teams.
WORK PROCESSES, PROCEDURES, AND COLLABORATION:
- Adhere to all Excell Refrigeration policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding workload adjustments.
- Share customer feedback with management for continuous improvement.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
- Always maintain professionalism and courtesy with customers and colleagues.
- Strive to exceed customer expectations in service delivery
- Education and Experience:
- Must have a Valid Florida Driver’s License and maintain a good driving record.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, or college.
- Must have EPA/Universal
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Proactive safety attitude.
