As an IT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for clients experiencing technical issues. You’ll troubleshoot hardware and software problems, perform system maintenance, and deliver outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to client inquiries and provide technical assistance via phone, email, or remote support tools.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patches.
- Assist with user account management, including setup and permissions.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Educate clients on IT best practices and preventative measures.
- Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or team leads when necessary
Preferred Requirements
- Associates Degree in Information Systems or related field
- 2 years of relevant technical experience
- A , Network , Server Certifications a plus but not required
- Microsoft Certifications a plus but not required
- Strong knowledge of PC desktop support
- Intermediate knowledge of Server support
- Intermediate knowledge of Networking
- Ability to Speak Spanish
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license.
- Dependable transportation.
- Ability to work some nights and weekends and as required.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
