What are the responsibilities and job description for the Design Engineer position at Excelon Solutions?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities.

Key words
- Degree in ME/EE. Design Engineer with over 5 years of engineering experience in actual creation of required components of Active Safety components / ADAS components e.g. Camera, Parking sensor, RADARs, LIDAR etc
- Create concept, specification setting and layout creation and negotiation capability
- CATIA V6 experience.
- Ability to design plastic and sheet metal parts and assmeblies.
- Create layouts and 2D drawings for components and assembly.
- Conducts design feasibility and support in prototyping, fabricating and manufacturing of assigned parts and systems.
- Design ideas/features by preparing, checking and issuing 2D and 3D drawings/layouts, calculations and analysis and confirming prototype parts compliance with drawing specifications.
- Must be proficient in technical writing and possess computer skills for scientific and technical applications.
- Must be able to proficiently handle multiple projects and develop analytical procedures.
- Work with suppliers to assure parts/services are requested appropriately, evaluate technical proposals, and write technical reports.
