Excelraise, LLC is seeking a Mainframe Technical Support Analyst (Remote) for our client in Raleigh, NC (Remote).
Tech Support Services requires a short-term contractor in the role of Technical Support Analyst. This position will provide much-needed support for the administration of production DB2, CICS, Endevor, and X/PTRsystems.
The person filling this position should have:
- Thorough knowledge of the Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality.
- The ability to provide configuration management/release management support and guidance for Endevor software.
- Thorough knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques.
- Thorough knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2.
- The ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savings.
- The ability to provide CICS administration, problem-solving and debugging support interfacing with application developers as well as DIT personnel.
