Job Summary
The Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and communication initiatives to enhance brand awareness, drive patient volume, and support business growth. This role oversees branding, advertising, digital and traditional media, internal and external communications, and community engagement efforts. The Director collaborates with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and effective marketing strategies that align with organizational goals.
Job Duties
· Facilitates and provides strategic direction for the integrated planning and execution of Excelsia marketing plans including advertising, marketing, community relations, special events, media, sponsorship, attorney relations, physician relations, customer service, branding, website development and enhancements, direct mail, internal communication, and collateral materials.
· Collaborate with sales or marketing representatives and support them on creative sales and marketing strategies.
· Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
· Oversee all branding efforts, including brand positioning, messaging, and rebranding initiatives for future acquisitions and partnerships.
· Manage of Digital Marketing Associate and the related work completed by them including digital and traditional marketing channels, including social media, website, email campaigns, and print materials.
· Oversee reputation management, including review platforms and social media interactions.
· Lead public relations efforts, including media outreach, press releases, and crisis communication.
· Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and special events to strengthen brand presence.
· Develop, draft, and distribute internal communications, including company announcements, newsletters, leadership messages, and policy updates to ensure clear and consistent messaging across the organization.
· Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to align communications with business goals and company culture.
· Manage communication strategies for employee engagement, ensuring that internal messaging fosters a positive and informed workplace environment.
· Supervise and coordinate with marketing vendors, designers, and content creators to produce high-quality materials.
· Monitor and analyze marketing and communication campaign performance, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
· Manage the marketing and communications budget, allocating resources to maximize return on investment.
· Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks, other, and ad hoc tasks as requested by senior leadership of Excelsia.
· Composes draft speeches for senior management and assists with finalizing speeches.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years marketing experience in health care services.
Physical/Mental Requirements
Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at
waist, working in kneeling position, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting maximum of 20 lbs.
Compensation: $110k/year to $130k/year comparable to experience.
