Admissions Coordinator

Location: Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Island, Merritt Island, Florida

Salary: $20-$22 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately review incoming admission face sheets for insurance information.
• Complete internal documentation and prepare medical records for admissions.
• Perform insurance verification processes.
• Respond to admission inquiries in a timely, enthusiastic, and positive manner.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in admissions or insurance verification, preferably in a hospital, skilled nursing, or post-acute setting.
• Working knowledge of healthcare registration, insurance referral, and authorization processes.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems like PointClickCare.
