Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluation and Planning: Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate residents and create individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs.
- Independence Promotion: Support residents in performing daily activities to enhance their ability to live independently and safely.
- Support Provision: Monitor residents during prescribed activities, ensuring their progress, safety, and well-being.
- Rehabilitation Facilitation: Assist in the rehabilitation process of residents recovering from illness, injury, or other health challenges to help them regain independence and improve overall functioning.
- Confidentiality Safeguarding: Maintain confidentiality and protect residents' personal health information at all times.
- Teamwork Promotion: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to foster a team-like atmosphere and contribute to the success of the facility’s rehabilitation goals.
- Florida State COTA License: Current and valid Florida State COTA License is required.
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience in long-term care settings is preferred.
