Position: Part-Time Cook

Salary: $16 per hour

Job Description:

• Prepare meals according to planned menus, ensuring they are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Serve food with established portion control procedures and accommodate therapeutic diets as needed.
• Follow standardized recipes and special diet orders.
• Provide bedtime snacks and assist in serving meals in a timely manner.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards, adhering to regulations and established policies.
• Assist with cleaning duties and ensure the kitchen is clean and safe.
• Handle food and waste disposal according to policies.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Preferred background in cooking within a long-term care facility.
• Knowledge of food sanitation and batch cooking
