Maintenance Assistant - Full Time (8 AM - 4 PM)

Location: Palm Beach Nursing Center

Pay Rate: $20-21/hour

Job Overview:

Palm Beach Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to support the Building Engineer in maintaining our facility and grounds. If you're skilled in building maintenance, have a customer service mindset, and take pride in keeping spaces safe and functional, we'd love to have you on our team!

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Building Engineer with maintenance of the building and grounds.
• Perform routine tasks such as painting, floor care, pressure washing, and basic plumbing repairs.
• Complete maintenance work orders in resident apartments.
• Help with in-house resident moves as needed.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial facility maintenance.
• Customer service-oriented approach while interacting with residents and guests.
• 1-2 years of long-term care maintenance experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general carpentry and repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
