Physical Therapist (PRN) - Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Pay Rate: $50-$55 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess residents and develop individualized treatment goals and physical therapy plans.
• Implement therapeutic techniques to improve gait, muscle strength, mobility, posture, and balance.
• Design and fit adaptive devices such as orthotics and prosthetics, and train residents on their proper use.
• Choose physical modalities based on individual needs, physical capacity, and diagnosis.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to ensure tailored care for each resident.
• Provide instruction and guidance to residents, monitor their progress, and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Participate in resident care meetings and contribute to care planning.
• Supervise and train supportive staff, ensuring compliance with state and professional standards.
• Conduct in-service training programs on physical therapy techniques for medical and nursing personnel.
• Manage the ordering of therapy supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is well-maintained and functional.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid and unencumbered New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
