- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks related to clinical operations, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and JCAHO standards.
- Provide training and support to staff on risk management practices and protocols.
- Analyze incident reports and trends to develop preventive measures and improve overall risk management processes.
- Prepare detailed reports on risk management activities for senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and external regulatory agencies regarding risk-related matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in risk management within the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of medical management practices and JCAHO accreditation standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a focus on organizational goals.
- Certification in healthcare risk management (such as CPHRM) is a plus.
