Excelsior Integrated Care Center, a subsidiary of Excelsior Wellness, is currently accepting applications for a Program Manager-TAY (Transition Age Youth) Services.
Job Summary:
The Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight, operation, and development of services within LifePoint and TAY programs. This role ensures that all services are provided in compliance with regulatory, licensing, and contractual requirements while fostering a youth-centered environment that supports housing stability, independent living, mental health, substance use recovery, education, and employment readiness. The Program Manager will supervise, mentor, and support the LifePoint team while building strong community partnerships to enhance service delivery.
How to qualify:
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- Peer Support Certification or ability to become certified preferred.
- Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor Credential or ability to become registered within 60 days required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Transition Age Youth (TAY), vulnerable populations, or independent living programs.
- Prior management and supervision experience is required.
- Experience working with behavioral health, housing instability, workforce development, or peer recovery models preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to develop youth-centered programs and implement trauma-informed practices.
- Must be 21 years or older
- Able to pass criminal background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for employment. *New employees with out-of-state licenses must obtain a Washington State Driver’s License within 30 days of employment*
Primary duties:
- Oversee the development, implementation, and refinement of LifePoint and TAY services, ensuring they align with best practices in youth behavioral health, independent living, and workforce development.
- Ensure that youth receive integrated care directly and by supporting staff members in coordinating with mental health professionals, housing specialists, case managers, and peer mentors.
- Actively manage day-to-day program operations and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support staff in developing independent living skills activities, including financial literacy, cooking, job readiness, and self-advocacy for residents.
- Work directly with young adults and staff to develop personalized plans that focus on housing stability, behavioral health support, and long-term goal setting.
- Supervise and mentor Behavioral Health Technicians and Peer Support Specialists.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development in youth engagement strategies, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction.
- Ensure all services comply with state regulations, licensing requirements, and funding contracts.
