What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Technician - Wood Products position at Excelsior Wood Products?
Excelsior Wood Products is currently seeking a Machine Operator at our full service custom wood mill.
Excelsior Wood Products is a small, family owned business located in historic Kingston, NY. We have the capability to manufacture both new and reclaimed wood products including mouldings, flooring, decking, siding, paneling and furniture to name a few. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Making parts from sheet goods and solid wood
- Remove and stack parts when done
- Maintain machine and tooling
- Capable of using a variety of woodworking tools
- Some assembly, wrapping and palletizing of parts
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to lift a sheet of 1/2" Plywood
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High school diploma
- Mandatory drug testing and background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $20.00 per hour
