1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed - Oneida, NY (BJ - SS)
A 64-year-old female in the Oneida area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist her with, money management, communication, and help her with choosing activities to her liking while being as healthy as possible. She enjoys going to the zoo, making crafts, knitting, making keychains, playing games, watching TV, reading and going shopping.
The ideal candidate is creative and engaging, active and patient, and willing to travel to different locations. The ideal candidate should be very crafty and willing to make crafts.
Hours and days of work: Sunday's before 9:30am (Church), Monday's, Tuesday's open availability, up to 17 hours a week.
Starting pay: Starting pay is $18.00 an hour
Location: Oneida, NY
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work independently in the person's home and/or community.
- Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills
- No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
- New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
