Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Respite in the East Syracuse area to a 13yr old girl with developmental disabilities. Her family is looking for a dedicated, active individual to provide her with support and supervision, both at home and in the community.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervision at home, accompanying and supporting her during community outings, supporting her with health and safety needs and providing transportation as needed.
We are looking for an individual who is dependable, patient, enthusiastic and able to work independently. A reliable vehicle and a driver's license are required.
Hours: Approx 10 hours per week (weekday afternoons/evenings)
Flexible schedule to be agreed upon with the family
Pay rate: $18.00/hr
All new hires must complete a five hour initial training. The pay rate for the initial training is $16.50/hour.
