As a Banquet Houseperson, you will provide timely and courteous service to all banquet guests, encouraging the guests to return and facilitate outstanding banquet experiences. You will serve food and beverages at banquet functions in a timely manner in a dynamic team-focused environment!

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Embody the values guiding principles of Hotel Drover
• Ability to manage multiple functions and deliver results in a demanding, fast-paced environment
• Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders while acting as an extension of the Hotel Drover brand
• Provide guests with excellent customer service and accommodate any needs for reasonable special requests.
• Set up, clean, and maintain meeting and banquet rooms following the standards of service as set by hotel management.
• Responsible for the proper cleaning and setting of banquet functions and meeting rooms
• Care and storage of all equipment such as tables and chairs
• Servicing meeting rooms
• Work closely with the Banquet Servers to ensure guest satisfaction
• Provide outstanding service
• Follow uniform and grooming specifications
• Communicate with support crew and management

• Passion for creating an amazing experience for our clients and guests

• Creative thinking and strategic skills
• Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities; passion for collaboration

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1 years of experience as a banquet houseman
• Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
