As a Housekeeping Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner!
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
- Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities.
- Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
- Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk. Prepare and distribute assignment sheets/workboards to Housekeeping staff.
- Complete required housekeeping paperwork.
- Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and organization across all areas of the property.
- Supervise and assign tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring completion of duties in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inspect rooms and common areas to maintain cleanliness standards and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Uniform bookkeeping and inventory for the hotel uniform program.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in housekeeping, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or coordinator role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bilingual (Spanish English) a plus
