On-Call, Part-Time Janitor and Cleaner Crew Member

We are seeking an On-Call, Part-Time Janitor and Cleaner Crew Member to join our team and provide cleaning support for accounts in the Orlando, FL area.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning Duties
  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment, including back-pack vacuums, to maintain cleanliness and safety in office, medical, industrial facilities
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators
  • Dust and clean office furniture, desks, and common areas
  • Follow detailed cleaning checklists to ensure all areas are cleaned and sanitized per health and safety standards

• Compliance & Safety
  • Follow health and safety protocols specific to medical, office, and industrial cleaning, including using personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ensure the proper use, labeling, and storage of cleaning chemicals

• Teamwork & Professionalism
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across various locations to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service
  • Respond to customer concerns promptly and report any unsafe conditions to supervisors

• Maintenance & Organization
  • Keep janitor closets and cleaning equipment organized and in good working condition
  • Track and manage cleaning tasks and hours worked using the CleanSmarts system

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 months of janitorial or office cleaning experience, 
• Reliable transportation is required to travel between job sites
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 25 pounds, including boxes, furniture, and equipment
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols precisely
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Ability to handle manual labor and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment

• This position is on-call part-time with flexible hours.
