What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Improvement Engineer position at Exco Extrusion Dies Inc?
Exco Tooling Solutions, a leader in Aluminum Extrusion industry is looking for an experienced, passionate, and results-oriented Process Improvement Engineer. In this role, you will work with people to identify new process improvement opportunities in the areas of quality, cost, efficiency, waste reduction and performance. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Resolving day-to-day technical issues related to machine operations.
- Continuous development of machining processes/ techniques using CAM programming techniques.
- Collect data and analyze the use of production equipment, labor, and machinery.
- Identify improvement opportunities in machining processes and techniques, develop improvement plans, and oversee implementation and monitoring of refined processes.
- Lead the charge in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and technologies.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Process Improvement Engineer or similar role.
- Working knowledge of CNC machining and programming using software like NX, MASTERCAM etc.
- Previous work experience in a Die and Mold industries would be an asset.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
