Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Business Development Specialist to drive growth by acquiring new customers and expanding market presence. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on building relationships, closing deals, and contributing to a company's expansion.
Essential Functions:
🔹 Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within current manufacturing capabilities.
🔹 Generate qualified leads through market research, networking, cold calling, and leveraging an existing book of business or contacts.
🔹 Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
🔹 Maintain a deep understanding of manufacturing capabilities and effectively communicate them to potential customers.
🔹 Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
🔹 Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
🔹 Work closely with the Sales Manager and Customer Service team to ensure a seamless customer experience while driving growth.
Qualifications:
✔️ Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
✔️ Experience with and understanding of manufacturing processes and technical products.
✔️ Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.
✔️ Highly motivated and results-driven, with a demonstrated history of identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities.
✔️ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
✔️ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
✔️ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
✔️ Strong negotiation and closing skills.
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field preferred.
