Business Development Manager
Location : Indianapolis Metro
Pay : $50K commission (OTE $100K )
Schedule : M-F, 8am - 5pm
Our client is a growth focused business services company who works within the manufacturing and distribution sectors of the market.
They are looking for you, a high energy Business Development Manager who can manage the full-cycle client experience (prospecting, sales, account management) while also taking ownership of the development and maintenance of a client pipeline to hit monthly sales goals. This is a direct hire opportunity. Your time is typically split : 40% in-office and 60% field-based (business-to-business outside sales calls / prospective client visits / networking events).
What you get to do :
- Develop contact with potential customers in the industry by cold calling, emailing or scheduling meetings in person, and prospecting via online ad boards.
- Form new and continue existing relationships with companies in the customer database by visiting them in person, maintaining phone contact and addressing issues or problems when they come up.
- Build rapport with hiring managers within existing accounts to increase partnership opportunities.
- Prepare and present presentations and solutions to potential clients, attend trade shows or other large events to meet potential customers.
