Corporate Associate (M&A) - Private Equity / Transactional Law
Location : New York, NY or Boston, MA
Pay : $260,000 - $310,000, bonus eligible
Schedule : Full-time
Our client, an Am Law 100 firm with a robust corporate practice, is seeking a Corporate Associate to join their M&A team in New York or Boston. The firm specializes in private equity, mergers, and acquisitions, working with a diverse range of clients including global funds, family offices, and independent sponsors. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex transactions in a high-growth environment while developing professionally toward a partnership track.
They are looking for you, an experienced Corporate Associate (M&A) , to contribute to a collaborative team environment, handling a variety of complex transactional matters with the highest quality of service.
What you get to do :
Work on a broad range of M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, and private equity deals.
Advise financial institutions, private equity funds, and other clients on strategic transactions.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and work independently to provide efficient legal services.
Develop strong relationships with clients and team members to ensure high-quality legal support throughout all stages of transactions.
Engage in business development and contribute to the growth of the firm's corporate practice.
What you need to succeed :
JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
Admission (or eligibility for admission) to the New York or Massachusetts Bar.
3 years of M&A and private equity transactional experience.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
