What You Get To Do
- Perform mold changes and set up job orders based on schedule
- Load and position tools into presses and execute changeovers
- Set up and maintain secondary equipment like thermolators, chillers, and heat controllers
- Inspect, maintain, and clean molds and machines
- Complete documentation and changeover sheets accurately
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely
- Train operators and assist with troubleshooting and process improvements
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 6 months of experience in the plastic molding industry preferred
- Forklift experience required (must maintain valid forklift license)
- Knowledge of molding processes and materials
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
