What You Get To Do
- Initial research and evaluation of potential suppliers
- Integrate purchasing information into the company's database
- Update and add supplier info into the database
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to the Purchasing function
- Assist management in the maintenance of the Quality System
- Assists in the resolution of purchase order discrepancies with the materials management team
- Daily purchasing functions such as vendor management, review of inventory demand, execute purchase orders and follow-up on back orders
- Highschool diploma required; College preferred
- Prior experience in purchasing or related function
- Good systems skills to include experience in an ERP system
- Must be a quick learner that is eager to learn and grow
