What You Get To Do
- Prepare timely and accurate engineered solutions for multiple Physical Security solutions, including: Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, and Intercom Systems.
- Generate technical Scopes of Work (SOW), Bill of Materials (BOMs) and detailed design narratives for engineered solutions and cost estimates.
- Analyze blueprints, drawings and design specifications to prepare compliant engineered solutions and cost estimates.
- Responsible for engineering and the associated cost estimates for small to large integrated security projects.
- Work with and support the Sales and Marketing teams by participating in technical discussions and meetings with customers and product partners.
- Assist the sales organization by attending site-walk and pre-bid meetings on project activity. Track all site visits and keep detailed information of site conditions for use in the design of the engineering solutions.
- Act as liaison between and meet with sales, project management and operations when project is turned over for installation.
- Meet bid schedules and deadlines and work within and can meet a very strict timeframe.
- Attend and complete job turnover meetings as required to cover all details and expectations of project as they were designed.
- Provide and assist CAD with proper information packages(Drawings, camera schedules, device details, etc.)
- 2 years of estimating experience or 3 years field experience.
- Proficient in MS Word, MS, Excel, MS Project, MS Visio, MS Outlook
- Understanding of electrified door hardware and accessories
- Industry Certifications
- Exceptional Time Management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints and specifications
- Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of telecommunications and security materials and installation methods
- Able to work in a high-volume, fast paced environment
