The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description Under the direct supervision of either the Director of Finance and Administration, this position performs duties related to offices services and maintenance requirements of the Executive Chamber at the NYS Capitol.Duties: • Coordinate logistics for events, including press conferences, bill signings, and various meetings for the Governor and Executive Chamber staff at the Capitol.• Set up and break down any space where special events are taking place.• Serve as a liaison with OGS parking management for the purposes of securing employee and visitor parking, as needed.• Coordinate and maintain acquisition of assets and logistics of office moves.• Assist with management of the Executive Chamber vehicle pool inventory, including liaising with statewide Fleet Management.• Transport and/or delivery of assets between offices via fleet vehicle.• Assist staff and prepare work orders for general office maintenance, furniture and equipment repair. Maintain accurate furniture and equipment inventory.• Coordinate mail/shipping procedures and supply requests with mailroom staff in the Albany, NYC, Buffalo, and DC offices.• Manage master key inventory, issue and track keys provided to staff.• Organize and manage emergency go bags for staff, including inspection and replenishment of contents.• Other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications At least three years of relevant experience, such as property or space management, warehouse and inventory operations, purchasing, fleet or parking management, telecommunications, mail room operations, printing, or records management and retention.
