Our client, a capital equipment manufacturer in Kent Ohio, is seeking an on-site electrical / electronic design engineer due to growth and expansion. Company is currently working on a variety of continuous motion and robotic system projects.

The Electrical Design Engineer will :

  • Work on a variety of electronic / electrical design projects
  • Design and develop electrical control panels for machinery, including creating detailed bills of materials (BOMs) and ensuring compliance with industry standard
  • Create :

Electrical schematics

  • Control wiring plans
  • Interconnection diagrams
  • Cable schedules based on control schematics and power feed diagrams
  • Design :

    • Single-phase

  • Three-phase
  • DC protection
  • Control circuits tailored to specific applications

    • The ideal candidate will have :

  • A deep understanding of :

    • Electrical schematic design

  • Capital equipment design experience
  • Various control components (emphasis on Allen-Bradley controls)
  • BSEE / EET or technical equivalent coupled with 3 years proficiency in electrical schematic design and CAD software
  • In-depth knowledge of :

    • PLCs

  • Servos
  • I / O
  • Ethernet IP, and other control components
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical design and safety.

    • Compensation range is $90k-$110k.

    Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
