SUMMARY
We are hunting a proven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on behalf of our retained search client, a private equity-backed logistics and supply-chain technology company. Direct report to the CEO.
As CFO, you will be responsible for financial strategy and planning, and managing all financial function. Our client is profitable and cash flow positive.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will partner with the CEO and Board of Directors to support organizational growth, develop long-term strategic plans and manage resources efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee a team based in Dallas, TX.
- Partner with the executive team and Board of Directors to develop and implement financial strategies that align with long-term goals.
- Oversee financial forecasting, modeling and reporting functions.
- Present financial statements: cash flow analysis, P&L, and balance sheet to the Board, executive Team and key investors.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support data-driven decisions for executing the business and risk mitigation.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures to safeguard assets and improve cost efficiency throughout the company.
- Oversee annual audits and ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
REQUISITES
- 20 years of experience in senior financial leadership
- Bachelor degree required.
- MBA is desired but not requisite.
- CPA is strongly preferred.
- Big 4 experience is ideal.
- Recent experience exiting an PE-backed company is ideal.
