The IT business application development specialist role is tasked with developing and maintaining Idemitsu’s business application environments. These environments include but are not limited to SAP, SQL CRM platforms like Salesforce or Dynamics, and workflow software such as Monday.com. The developer would be responsible for running various projects to involve updating, migrating, break fix, and troubleshooting of their business application environments.
Essential Job Functions
Administer all aspects of business application environments, including updates, change requests, migrations etc.
Manage SQL databases, develop MS dynamics, and SAP systems.
Provide high level troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Give support for desktop hardware and software.
Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as networking to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
Maintain confidentiality regarding information being processed, stored, or accessed.
Run logging and monitoring/alerting system for business applications.
Recommend hardware, software, and general technology purchases.
Work directly with outside vendors and contractors for equipment purchase and project coordination.
Investigate and recommend technology options for the benefit of ILA.
Assist personnel of other departments as a technical resource.
Write PowerShell/bash/batch scripts to complete various tasks.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in IT, computer science, development related field or Associates degree & combined work experience required.
Experience
10 years experience with application development
7 years experience with project management
Job Knowledge/Special Skills/Abilities
Able to use computers at an extremely high level with capability in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and email (Outlook). Overall outstanding PC skills. Knowledge of Office 365.
Very strong written & verbal communication skills. Able to communicate professionally to internal and external shareholders. Talented public speaker and listener. Great presentation skills.
Extensive knowledge
with ERP CRM application development such as SAP, Dynamics and Salesforce.
Knowledge of SharePoint development and administration
Thorough understanding of the OSI model and how it applies to network devices.
Extensive knowledge of database administration.
Knowledge of common business application programming languages like Java.
Knowledge of scripting with, Bash, PowerShell, and batch.
Leadership mindset, analytical capability, planning and organizing, collaborative decision making, high level of emotional intelligence with a global perspective, and positive attitude.
Able to learn and support new systems and applications.
Able to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
