Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage production operations across three shifts, supervising 3 shift supervisors, 3 quality team members, and 55 hourly employees.
- Oversee and drive improvements in horizontal/vertical lathes, grinding processes, trim processes, and finishing in foundry/casting operations.
- Manage and support in-house tooling and machining activities.
- Collaborate on the purchase and implementation of capital equipment for a department-wide modernization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to ensure operational goals are achieved.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and quality across all production teams.
- 5–10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on metal fabrication.
- Proven experience with lathes, foundry/casting processes, grinding processes, and automated trim/finishing systems.
- Strong background in continuous improvement, engineering, or operations management.
- Hands-on leadership style with a focus on team development and process improvement.
- Experience in managing the implementation of capital equipment upgrades.
- Familiarity with KPIs and metrics to measure operational performance.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
